Scouts SA Recycling Centres have an exciting opportunity for a full time Cashier based at our Green Fields Recycling Centre. Reporting to the Operations Assistant this role is the link between our Recycling attendants and our office based staff. You will be the face of customer service that ensures every customer has a positive interaction with us whilst building your administration skills through assisting our office based staff.
As an integral member of the Scout Recycling Team you will be responsible for:
- Greet customers politely & ensure they receive assistance
- Support customers with the accurate & timely processing of dockets for their recycling transactions
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Cash management – daily balancing & reconciliation of the till
- Data Entry into our accounting package
- Provide administration back up & support to the Customer & Sales Support Officer
This position would suit you if you have:
- Experience in customer service & cash or retail transaction handling
- Basic administration skills – this is your opportunity to develop those further in a supported environment
