{"id":128,"date":"2025-02-18T00:35:52","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T00:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sa.scouts.com.au\/lone\/?page_id=128"},"modified":"2025-02-18T00:35:53","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T00:35:53","slug":"positions-vacant","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sa.scouts.com.au\/lonescouts\/positions-vacant\/","title":{"rendered":"Positions Vacant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lone Scouts in South Australia is a Scouting Group for youth and adults that want to stay in Scouting but are unable to attend regular meetings with their local Group, or are not living close to a Scout Group, especially one that does not have their Section to continue their journey in Scouting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lone Scouts wants to help that youth member to achieve this and perhaps one day, return to Scouts as a leader themselves. Our members mainly use the internet to communicate with one another but still plan to meet up with one another for hikes and Branch events when possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As has been proven throughout the current pandemic, finding a balance between \u2018on screen time\u2019 and \u2018real time\u2019 activities is not an easy task but we are always applying new ways to help alleviate such problems so that we can keep moving forward by listening to our youth members, along with their families, to help achieve positive and ongoing solutions to any situations or issues that may occur.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a keen, outgoing leader who can think outside the square when it comes to Scouting and who can engage with youth all over South Australia and sometimes further abroad.
