The Stradbroke Scout Group is required to hold an Annual General Meeting once a year, before June 30th.

An Annual General Meeting has been called for Tuesday 28 March 2023, at 7 pm in the Scout Hall.

The Group Support Committee members for the coming year shall be appointed at this meeting. All parents are invited to attend:

• Parents of the Scouts attending on Tuesday night.
• Parents of the Cubs attending on Tuesday night.
• Parents of the Joeys attending on Friday night.
• Parents of the Venturer unit.

We require more than 50% of the group’s parents to attend the meeting to form a quorum.

This is a Cub and Scout regular meeting evening so we hope you can all make it!

A final agenda will be published soon. The tentative agenda is:

• Welcome
• Apologies
• Presentations – awards, gifts, etc
• Minutes of the previous AGM moved/seconded (See https://sa.scouts.com.au/stradbroke/2022/11/09/2022-agm-minutes/)
• Group Leader’s report
• Treasurer’s report, including adoption of audit report
• Nominations for Committee membership, including Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson,
• Secretary, Treasurer and any other positions
• Date of the first group support committee meeting
• Discuss upgrades / wish list for improvements to the Group.
