Hallett Cove Scout Group has a range of policies to help ensure that the Group operates in a clear, fair, safe and consistent manner.
Our policies provide information for youth members, parents and guardians, Leaders, volunteers and other members of the Group.
Policies are reviewed and updated from time to time. The versions published on this page are the current versions approved by the Hallett Cove Scout Group Committee.

Fees
Fee Information Policy
Our Fee Information Policy explains how membership and Group fees are managed at Hallett Cove Scout Group.
It includes information about:
- Group term fees and the Scouts SA membership component;
- The three-week Come ’n’ Try period;
- Initial joining costs;
- How fees are invoiced and paid;
- Members joining during a school term;
- Fee discounts;
- Financial hardship arrangements; and
- Refunds and membership cancellation.

Behaviour
Behaviour Policy
Our Behaviour Policy sets out the standards of behaviour expected of everyone involved with Hallett Cove Scout Group.
This includes:
- Youth members;
- Leaders;
- Adult Helpers;
- Committee members;
- Parents and guardians; and
- Other people participating in Group activities.
The policy is intended to help maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone involved in Scouting.

Fundraising
Fundraising Policy
Fundraising is an important part of supporting Hallett Cove Scout Group and providing opportunities for our youth members.
Our Fundraising Policy explains:
- How Group fundraising activities are organised;
- How members can participate;
- How funds raised may be allocated;
- How fundraising credits are managed; and
- What happens to fundraising credits when a member leaves the Group.

Activity Booking and Cancellation Policy
Our Activity Booking and Cancellation Policy explains how bookings for camps, excursions, activities and other events are managed.
It includes information about:
- Activity bookings;
- Payment deadlines;
- Cancellations by participants;
