Celebrating Tradition and Teamwork: Cohen Cup 2024

Dating back to 1938, the Cohen Cup started as a cooking competition for the Scout Section and has since evolved to include all sections. It allows Youth Members to showcase their bushcraft, pioneering, and camping skills. This year’s event was held at Woodhouse Adventure Park on Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th, bringing together over 250 Scouts from every corner of the state.

The theme of Mythology infused the weekend with magic as teams donned impressive costumes and transformed their campsites into mythical worlds. Scouts also collaborated to prepare delicious culinary masterpieces on-site, all in the great outdoors, including a three-course dinner and a hearty camp breakfast, presented to competition judges for all important points.

The weekend was filled with camaraderie and adventure, celebrating competition, creativity, friendship and showcasing the true spirit of Scouting. Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding efforts, and special recognition to the following award winners:
