Welcome to Hackham Scout Group
Be prepared for Adventure

About Us

Hackham Scout Group opened in 1969, running a range of great programs for youth aged between 5 and 26.

Hackham Scout Group prides itself in being an inclusive group and aim to do as best we can to suit each individual needs, working with families where needed.

Scouting is inclusive of ages 5 to 26, offering an all-inclusive award scheme allowing members to develop at their own pace through Stages of Outdoor Adventure Skills Badges and pursuing their own interests with Special Interest Area Badges.

Working through 3 levels of Milestones by Leading & assisting evenings, throughout their journey, Scouts experience the program either working as a member of a small team or Patrol.

Importantly, Scouting provides the opportunity for youth to develop skills in teamwork, resilience, leadership and make lifelong friends.

We engage in a range of activities in our weekly meetings and on some week-ends that are all designed to be adventurous, engaging, challenging and fun.

Each section will also have the ability to participate in:

  • Camps
  • Sleepovers
  • Adventurous activities
  • Outings
  • Special visitors to the Scout Hall
  • District or Branch events
