Roonka Camp 2025: Welcome to the Fun House

Over 100 Joeys and Cubs rolled up to the Roonka River Adventure Park from November 7 to 9 for the 2025 Joey Cub Roonka Camp.

This year’s Roonka Camp featured a circus theme, with fun as far as the eye can see. Campers enjoyed an array of exciting activities on land and in the water, including the highly anticipated flying fox, a slippery water slide, various target sports, crafting activities at Clown School, and much more.

The camp was family-friendly, allowing parents and kids to spend time together for a fantastic, memorable experience. There was a joyful energy in the air as both youth and their parents enjoyed an incredible weekend.

During the event, a youth member struggled to find the confidence needed to tackle the water slide. However, with encouragement from his fellow Scouts and their parents, he mustered the courage to take the exhilarating plunge into the water, then rushed to do it all again – an act that exemplified the true Scouting spirit of resilience.
