National Redress Scheme

Scouts Australia is participating in the National Redress Scheme launched by the Federal Government on 1 July 2018.

The National Redress Scheme, recommended by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse (2012-2017), is a crucial initiative and is of utmost importance to the Scouts SA community.

Scouts Australia is dedicated to ensuring that all survivors of institutional child sexual abuse can access the National Redress Scheme. We believe the Royal Commission has been a significant step towards creating a safer community for children.
