The Big Picnic

On Sunday 18 February, Woodhouse Adventure Park came alive with Scouts from across South Australia, as over 1500 attendees gathered for ‘The Big Picnic’. The inaugural event provided a valuable opportunity for Scouts SA members to explore and enjoy outdoor activities, network, strengthen connections, collaborate, and discuss upcoming opportunities for youth in the state.

Members and their families and friends enjoyed everything Woodhouse has to offer, from a range of activities, including slides, mazes, challenge hill and more, while also relishing in the opportunity to swap badges and explore both performing arts and SIA. Lucky competition winners soared through treetops on the thrilling zip-line, conquered the heights of the climbing tower, and experienced an adrenaline rush on the giant swing. 

The event was a true celebration of adventure and friendship, bringing our Scouting Community from across the state together.
