Joeys (Tuesday)
Kuraka Joeys

Tuesday 6.00pm to 7.15pm

Joey Scouts is where the adventure begins for young people aged 5 to 8. This section is all about fun, friendship, and discovery, as young people take their first steps in Scouting. Joey Scouts explore their world, develop teamwork, learn outdoor skills, and engage with their community through exciting, hands-on activities.

In Joey Scouts, you will Discover Adventure alongside your Patrol, trying new experiences, playing outdoor games, and tackling creative challenges. You’ll start learning about leadership by making small decisions with your friends and begin to understand what it means to be a Scout.

Our Tuesday night Joey Unit is named ‘Kuraka Joeys’. Kuraka is the Kaurna aboriginal tribe name for magpie.

On this page you can access information about the Kuraka Joeys program and the volunteer leader team that support this unit!
