Each ANZAC Day Flagstaff Hill Scout Group organise and conduct a local dawn service for Scout Group members and members of the local community.

The Dawn Service is held at the Flagstaff Memorial on Regano Road, Flagstaff Hill. The Dawn Service commences at 6.30am.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the State of South Australia this flagstaff was erected by the Scouts and Guides of Flagstaff Hill with the generous help of the Happy Valley Council and was unveiled by Mr. Rob Maslen Chief Commissioner Of Scouts (S.A.) and Mrs. Anne Millhouse Chief Commissioner of Guides

Since 1987 (except for COVID years) the Flagstaff Hill Scout Group has hosted a dawn service for members of the community at this location on ANZAC Day.
