Volunteer of the Month
October 13, 2021We are delighted to announce David Morgan and Max Jongebloed as our joint September 2021 Volunteers of the Month.
David has given over 63 years service to Scouting, and currently holds the role of Branch Commissioner Roonka. David is a Life Member of Scouts SA and was awarded the Silver Kangaroo in 1997.
Max has volunteered in Scouting for over 41 years and is also a Life Member of our Branch. Max was awarded the Silver Kangaroo in 2006.
These two very special volunteers have been integral to the smooth running of Roonka over many years. They have had a hand in maintenance, renovations, administration, looking after the welfare of wardens and guests at Roonka and overall great supporters of Scouting.
We thank David and Max from Branch and from every youth member, leader and family who have and will enjoy their time at Roonka due to David and Max’s extraordinary efforts. Congratulations.
