On Monday November 8, 2021 a new era for Scouts SA commenced with the launch of our new retail store
EXURBIA – The Adventure Supply Co.
This historical moment takes Scouts full circle in its journey, as we return to Norwood for the first time in 112 years, with history reporting that the first Scout Outfitter was opened by Mr James Rodgers of Norwood in 1909.
We had the privilege of welcoming the Honourable Steven Marshall MP to the event, who took us back to his time as a Cub, along with giving us a rendition of the Scouts Promise that he previously said at the start of all his meetings as a child.
He then proceeded to officially open the store, with the assistance of CEO Rebecca Wilson and Chief Commissioner Jan Turnbill.
The event attended by Scouts SA and EXURBIA staff, volunteers and suppliers was a great way for all to enjoy the culmination of their hard-work and dedication to achieving this next stage in Scouts SA commercial investment.
You can see all the images from the event via our Facebook page here!
As members of Scouts SA, we look forward to welcoming you to your new home for all your scouting needs; including Uniforms, Badges and accessories.
You can still continue to shop online, or why not drop in next time you need something and say hi to the EXURBIA Team.
