Children’s Week – Minister’s Award Winners
October 28, 2021On Wednesday Matthew and Thomas received the Minister’s Award as part of Children’s Week SA from the Honorable Education Minister John Gardner MP.
Matthew and Thomas were acknowledged for their community service to Port Elliot in collecting rubbish, setting up their own recycling system and donating all the recycling proceeds to the Victor Harbor Sea Scout Group.
David Basham MP also attended as Matthew and Thomas and their school are within his constituency.
Matthew is a Cub and Thomas a former member of the Victor Harbor Sea Scout Group.
