Scouting Leadership – Wood Badge Training
A requirement for all Leaders, Scouting Leadership is the final course of every Leaders training journey. This course builds on the skills and knowledge gained during proficiency training by exploring leadership skills and practices in both Scouting and life outside the movement.
Scouting Leadership Training costs $100 per member which is charged when a member attends their Scouting Leadership course. This cost includes On Demand Training access, printed resources, Scouting Leadership Course (including food and accommodation), and processing associated with training (including the Gilwell Scarf and Woodbeads). If a member completes their Scouting Leadership Training within 12 months of earning their Certificate of Proficiency, the cost of the Scouting Leadership Course ($50) will be reimbursed to the member’s formation. The processing fee of $50 covering Gilwell Scarf and Woodbeads is not included in this subsidy.
Course suitable for all Leader appointments, Rover Unit Leaders and Rover Scouts.

Scouting Adventure – Certificate of Proficiency (Youth Support) A requirement for all Youth Program Leaders in Leader of Youth Appointments, Scouting Adventure is an entry level course to Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS), where Leaders will develop a basic knowledge and understanding of the core OAS (i.e. Bushcraft, Bushwalking and Camping), primarily stages 1 to 3. This course will also give participants an introduction to the adventurous activity training that Outdoor Adventure Teams run throughout the year.
Course suitable for all Youth Program Leader/Leader of Youth appointments and Rover Scouts (e.g. Joey Scout, Cub Scout, Scout or Venturer Scout Leaders and Rover Scouts).

Child Safe Environments (YPL) – Certificate of Proficiency (Youth Support) A requirement for all Youth Program Leaders and Rover Unit Leaders, Child Safe Environments (YPL) is a 3-hour refresher workshop covering topics including risk and harm, abuse-related trauma, sexual abuse and online grooming.
Course suitable for all Youth Program Leader/Leader of Youth appointments and Rover Scouts (e.g. Joey Scout, Cub Scout, Scout or Venturer Scout Leaders and Rover Scouts).

Scouting Essentials – Certificate of Proficiency (Youth Support & Program Support) A requirement for all Leaders, Scouting Essentials covers all program essentials including Unit Councils, Program Planning, Guide to Special Interest Areas, Preparing a Scouts Own, Achievement Pathways, Activity Planning and more.
Certificate of Proficiency Training costs $130 per member which is charged once an Adult Leader has been appointed, or when a member attends a Scouting Essentials Course (e.g. Rover). This cost includes On Demand Training access, printed resources, Program Handbook, Child Safe Environments Course, Scouting Essentials Course (including food and accommodation), Scouting Adventure Course /or Scouting Management Course (including food and accommodation), and processing associated with training (including the Gilwell Woggle). If a member completes their Certificate of Proficiency Training within 12 months of starting their training, the Certificate of Proficiency Training cost ($130) will be reimbursed to the member’s formation.

Child Safe Environments (PSL) – Certificate of Proficiency (Program Support) A requirement for all Program Support Leaders, Child Safe Environments (PSL) is a full day workshop that runs participants through child protection topics at a more in-depth level. After attending a Child Safe Environments course, Leaders will be able to understand the types of risk of harm to children and young people.
